Dilip Kumar: ফের নক্ষত্রপতন ভারতীয় চলচ্চিত্র জগতে। বুধবার সকালে এক দুঃসংবাদে ঘুম ভাঙল বলিউডের। প্রয়াত কিংবদন্তী দিলীপ কুমার (Dilip Kumar)। শ্বাসকষ্ট নিয়ে বেশ কয়েকদিন ধরেই হাসপাতালে ভর্তি ছিলেন। বুধবার সকালে হাসপাতালেই শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেন বলিউডের প্রবীণ অভিনেতা।
প্রসঙ্গত দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই বার্ধক্যজনিত অসুস্থতায় ভুগছিলেন দিলীপ কুমার। গত ৩০ জুন তাঁকে মুম্বইয়ের হিন্দুজা হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়। দিন দুয়েক আগেই টুইটারে স্ত্রী সায়রা বানু জানিয়েছিলেন যে, দিলীপ কুমারের শারীরিক পরিস্থিতি স্থিতিশীল। অনুরাগীরাও আশায় ছিলেন যে এবারও হয়তো অসুস্থতাকে হারিয়ে ফিরে আসবেন অভিনেতা। তবে শেষরক্ষা আর হল না।
ভারতীয় চলচ্চিত্র তার স্বর্ণ যুগের অন্যতম কিংবদন্তী দিলীপ কুমারকে মনে রাখবে তাঁর অভিনীত 'দেবদাস', 'মুঘলে আজম', 'গঙ্গা যমুনা', 'রাম অউর শ্যাম' থেকে শুরু করে 'মধুমতী', 'ক্রান্তি', 'শক্তি', 'মাশাল'-এর মতো সিনেমার জন্য।
